Ancient Near Eastern Seals - Enduring Envoys

UNESCO has received, over the years, a small collection of objects donated to it by member countries. Iraq has given one cuneiform tablet and two seals. This paper discusses the seals, a stamp seal and a cylinder seal, and considers the significance of the imagery of the sun god.
